3D Printing Webinar and Virtual Event Roundup, June 12, 2020

In this week’s 3D Printing Webinar and Virtual Event Roundup, 3DEO is holding a webinar called “Manufacturing the Future” on June 16th, and Nexa3D is hosting a leadership forum in webinar style that same day. nTopology will have a virtual training workshop for its nTop software platform on June 18th.

3DEO’s “Manufacturing the Future” Webinar

Metal additive manufacturing startup 3DEO, which fabricates high-quality components with its unique Intelligent Layering technology, will be hosting a live webinar this Tuesday, June 16th, at 10 am PDT, called “Manufacturing the Future: The next era of innovation with Metal 3D Printing.” The company’s co-founder and president, Matt Sand, is the speaker for this webinar, which will teach attendees about important additive manufacturing advantages, how these advantages can lead to product development innovation, and why there’s no time like the present to start working with the technology.

“Today, it is prohibitively expensive for all but the most well funded organizations to build hardware. It’s incredibly expensive, difficult, and time consuming to make physical products. Additive manufacturing is about to change that. Imagine a world in which product development takes months, not years, and the total cost of development drops from millions of dollars to thousands. Believe it or not, this exciting Future of Manufacturing is right around the corner.”

Nexa3D’s Leadership Forum

Also on the 16th, but starting half an hour later at 10:30 am PST, Nexa3D is holding a virtual 3D printing leadership forum, “How to Fill Auto Manufacturing Supply Chain Gaps During Covid-19 and Beyond.” Moderated by Sarah Goehrke, the 45-minute forum will feature panelists Avi Reichental, the CEO and co-founder of Nexa3D, and Hugo da Silva, the Vice President of DSM Additive Manufacturing, as they discuss topics like building supply chain resilience into the automotive manufacturing process, how industrial additive manufacturing can support the automotive industry, and how to use AM to address future risks to automotive supply chains in a post-COVID world. After the discussion, there will be a live Q&A session.

nTopology’s Virtual Workshop

On Thursday, June 18th, from 10 am – 1:30 pm EST, nTopology will be holding a virtual workshop about its nTop software platform, called “nTop Essentials & Toolkit Training.” nTopology’s own Annika Norden, Customer Success Engineer, and Evan Pilz, Application Engineer, will be speaking during the workshop, and teaching attendees how to create configurable workflows with the platform’s modeling technology and use lightweighting and lattice techniques to make optimized part designs, as well as how to navigate the various nTop Toolkits. All eligible workshop participants will receive a free trial license of nTop Platform.

“nTop Platform utilizes advanced CAD concepts, such as implicit modeling, field-driven design, and TPMS structures, to generate robust geometries at a speed and efficiency that no other design software package can match today.

“In this virtual training workshop, our application experts will help you get a head start in your journey with nTop Platform. Through hands-on training and practical exercises, you will learn the fundamental concepts and basic Toolkits of the platform.”

Spaces are limited, and registration closes today at 5 pm ET, so sign up now.

Don’t forget, America Makes and Wohlers Associates are also holding their interactive Virtual Game Day Series Event on Thursday, June 18th, from 12-2:30 PM ET.
