These are 3D printable files for Cody Wilson’s Liberator gun, which have been made available on 3D Share and has been downloaded 322 times so far (update: at time of editing, 419). Here at 3DPrint.com, we reported just last week about the controversies surrounding 3D printed guns, and how MakerBot took down the posted 3D printable gun files on Thingiverse because it violated the company’s terms of service. Well, 3D Share clearly has different service terms, and now all the parts for the infamous Liberator are available for free download thanks to “ooscar8.”

If you are not feeling ambitious enough to 3D print your own gun (yet), this is a project that you can perhaps get behind: an adhesive tape dispenser from Castomized to keep tape literally at the tips of your fingers. With a 56 x 82 x 33 mm dimension size, the tape dispenser can be easily printed on your compact desktop printer. Also, you will be eliminating the hassle of looking for that roll of tape right when you are in the middle of something! This design is available for a 99 cent download.
Mayan Calendar
This is a beautiful and intricate design that displays the ancient Mayan calendar –from designer “Lin.D”. While the whole Mayan calendar-inspired scare about 2012 is long over, the Mayan calendar still attracts attention far beyond its apocalyptic premonitions. Its system dates back to at least the 5th century BCE, and now you can have your own 3D printed replica of this ancient time recording device for just a 99 cent download.
Women’s Body Parts
Designer “scolt” appears to be concerned that people may not be appreciating the female form enough. He has made available individual female parts for downloading: stomach, chest, buttocks, vagina, and a whole torso are available on 3D Share. Get your body parts while they last! Depending on the anatomy, downloads are either free or 99 cents.
EcubMaker Learning Chopsticks
Have you ever tried to learn how to use chopsticks, but it was just too complicated? It does take a certain amount of finesse, and overthinking it doesn’t work well either. Well, “Carl F.” has decided to use his EcubMaker Fantasy Pro 3D printer to make a chopstick support device that helps you use chopsticks! Printed at .2 mm layer with ABS filament, this is like the chopstick equivalent of bicycle training wheels. And guess what? There’s no pressure to ever stop using this device if you can’t get the swing of using chopsticks free-form style. This free download comes to us from the same designer who wants to help ease our French fry/potato chip making needs.
